KHAITE NYFW FW26/27

At New York Fashion Week, Khaite once again proved why the brand sits in that rare space between minimalism and main-character luxury. Under the direction of Catherine Holstein, the latest collection leaned into the label’s signature codes — sculptural tailoring, controlled sensuality, and pieces that feel expensive without trying too hard.

THE VIBE

The overall mood was restrained but intentional. Instead of chasing spectacle, Khaite delivered what it does best: elevated wardrobe pieces with just enough edge to feel current. The palette stayed largely grounded in black, cream, deep neutrals, and the kind of rich tones that photograph beautifully but, more importantly, wear well in real life.

There was a noticeable emphasis on structure meeting softness. Strong shoulders and precise coats were balanced with fluid knits and slinky silhouettes, reinforcing the brand’s ongoing conversation between power and ease.

PIECES THAT STOOD OUT FOR ME

Outerwear remained a hero category. Sharp, architectural coats and leather pieces anchored the collection and felt especially aligned with what Khaite customers actually buy. Tailoring was crisp but never stiff — the kind of suiting that reads powerful without feeling corporate.
